The lineup is set for next month’s UFC Fight Night 49 event, which includes bouts on FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass.
UFC Fight Night 49 takes place Aug. 23 at BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla. FOX Sports 1 carries the six-bout main card while FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass carry the prelims.
The event is the UFC’s first show in Oklahoma since UFC Fight Night 19 in 2009 and the first in Tulsa since UFC 4 in 1994.
UFC Fight Night 49 is slated for the same day as UFC Fight Nigh 48, which takes place in Macau earlier in the morning.
In the UFC Fight Night 49 headliner, former lightweight champion Benson Henderson (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) takes on fellow contender Rafael dos Anjos (21-7 MMA, 10-5 UFC). Henderson is ranked No. 2 and dos Anjos is No. 10 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA lightweight rankings.
Co-headlining the event are middleweights Thales Leites (23-4 MMA, 8-3 UFC) vs. Francis Carmont (22-9 MMA, 6-2 UFC).
Closing out the FOX Sports 2 prelims are welterweights Neil Magny (11-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and Alex Garcia (12-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC), while the lone UFC Fight Pass prelim features bantamweights Aaron Phillips (5-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) vs. Matt Hobar (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC).
